Benjamin Lee

Benjamin Lee is a Senior Associate Research Scientist in the XR team of JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology Applied Research, primarily focusing on human-centered virtual and augmented reality, particularly immersive analytics. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed conferences such as ACM CHI and IEEE VIS, and he has received multiple Best Paper or Honorable Mention awards, including CHI 2025, CHI 2022, VIS 2021, and ISS 2021. Before joining JPMorgan Chase, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Stuttgart VISUS team, collaborating with Dieter Schmalstieg and Michael Sedlmair. Additionally, he completed his Ph.D. at Monash University in the Data Visualization and Immersive Analytics Lab (now the Embodied Visualisation Lab), under the supervision of Tim Dwyer, Bernhard Jenny, Maxime Cordeil, and Arnaud Prouzeau.
