Kouta Minamizawa

Dr. Kouta Minamizawa is a professor at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design and serves as the head of the KMD Embodied Media Project. He obtained his Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from The University of Tokyo in 2010. His research interests include haptics, virtual reality, human augmentation, embodied informatics, and systems informatics. His work focuses on developing and applying embodied media that transmit, enhance, and create human experiences through digital technologies. He is also the project manager of the Cybernetic Being Project under the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) "Moonshot R&D Program" and actively engages in areas such as haptic design and superhuman sports.
