Weijen Chen

Weijen Chen is a designer and researcher specializing in the field of Human-Food Interaction (HFI), as well as an active scholar in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). He is currently a PhD student at the Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University, where his research focuses on enhancing emotional connections and sensory experiences through the interaction of food and technology. His contributions include innovative projects such as “Living Bento: Heartbeat-Driven Noodles,” which earned an Honorable Mention (Top 5%) at the 2025 CHI Conference. Weijen is dedicated to exploring cognitive and emotional states through design and technology, pushing the boundaries of human capability.
