Leona Holloway

Leona Holloway is a researcher and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, Australia. Her research focuses on assistive technologies, particularly developing tactile graphics, 3D printed models, and other assistive tools for individuals with visual impairments to enhance their experiences in education, arts, and orientation and mobility. As an active member of the International Council on English Braille (ICEB) and the Australian Braille Authority (ABA), Leona also founded the Australia and New Zealand Accessible Graphics Group (ANZAGG). Her research has been widely published in leading conferences and journals, covering topics in tactile technologies and accessible design.
