Haijun Xia

Haijun Xia is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego. He is affiliated with the Department of Cognitive Science, the Design Lab, and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He leads the Foundation Interface Lab, focusing on developing fundamental interfaces for future information environments, particularly in the domains of human-computer interaction and human-AI collaboration. His research has been published in top-tier conferences such as ACM CHI, UIST, and IEEE VIS, with multiple Best Paper Awards and nominations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, as well as a Master's and Ph.D. from the DGP Lab at the University of Toronto.
