Mohamed Khamis

Mohamed Khamis is a Professor of Cybersecurity and Human-Computer Interaction at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, and the Director of Postgraduate Research. His research mainly focuses on usable security and privacy, eye tracking technology, and human-computer interaction. He earned his PhD in Computer Science at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, under the supervision of Professor Florian Alt and Dr. Andreas Bulling. He has published over 189 academic papers, with more than 4,600 citations. His research achievements include innovative techniques in interaction for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mobile devices, particularly pioneering work on eye-based security and privacy mechanisms.
