Kathryn E. Ringland

Dr. Kathryn E. Ringland is currently a researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has made significant contributions to the field of informatics, particularly in assistive technology, autism communities, and digital mental health. Her research investigates how technology can create social support and inclusive environments for neurodiverse populations. Dr. Ringland holds a Ph.D. in Informatics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. She is dedicated to developing user-centered solutions that help marginalized groups achieve better social interaction and mental health through technology.
