Renwen Zhang

Dr. Renwen Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, focusing on research in artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and digital health. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, where he led the SWEET Lab dedicated to designing digital technologies that enhance social relationships and mental health. His research covers topics such as the interaction between AI chatbots and humans, the impact of digital media on mental health, and the relationship between social media use and social support. He holds a Ph.D. in Media, Technology, and Society from Northwestern University, with his findings frequently published in top international academic journals.
