Shaun K. Kane

Shaun Kane is a research scientist specializing in human-computer interaction and accessible design, currently working at Google Research in the field of responsible AI. His research seeks to leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to create innovative solutions that promote equality, independence, health, and creativity for people with disabilities. Before joining Google Research, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and founded the Superhuman Computing Lab. His research has been supported by the Google Lime Scholarship, UMBC Academic Innovation Fellowship, and Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, and he has published extensively in the areas of accessible computing and collaborative technologies.
