Hajin Lim

Hajin Lim (임하진) is an Assistant Professor in the Program in Information Science and Culture Studies in the Department of Communication at Seoul National University. She is also a member of the Seoul National University-Carnegie Mellon University Human-Computer Interaction Research Center. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and cross-linguistic computer-mediated communication. Hajin Lim earned her PhD in Information Science from Cornell University and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Robots and Society Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work integrates natural language processing (NLP) techniques with HCI design to facilitate cross-cultural communication and socio-technical interaction. Her research has been published in leading international conferences and journals, including CHI, CSCW, and ICWSM.
