Laleh Nourian

Laleh Nourian is a PhD researcher in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and a fellow in the NSF AWARE-AI program. Her research focuses on the intersection of digital accessibility design and cultural contexts, with a particular emphasis on the Global South and marginalized communities. She explores how technology design affects users from diverse cultural backgrounds and is committed to promoting accessible design practices through a multicultural lens. She has extensive research experience in related fields and has published multiple papers.
