Bernard J. Jansen

Dr. Bernard J. Jansen is a senior data analytics researcher and professor of computer science, currently working at Qatar Computing Research Institute and Hamad Bin Khalifa University, while also serving as an adjunct professor at the College of Information Sciences and Technology at The Pennsylvania State University. He holds a PhD in computer science from Texas A&M University and has authored over 380 academic papers and several professional books in the fields of data analytics, information retrieval, user behavior analysis, and social media research. His work spans multiple disciplines with a particular focus on understanding user and audience behavior through data analytics. He is also active in ACM’s Distinguished Speaker Program and plays significant roles in various international conferences.
