Suzanne Tolmeijer

Suzanne Tolmeijer is a researcher specializing in Human-Centered AI. She joined the DDIS research group in the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich in 2017 as a PhD researcher. Her research areas include ethical challenges in artificial intelligence, trust measurement, and the design of socio-technical systems. During her time at the University of Zurich, she participated in several projects focusing on machine ethics and technology trust. Suzanne completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Lifestyle Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, respectively. Additionally, she has experience working as a functional analyst in a software development company and served as a teaching assistant in academia. Her research findings are widely published on various international academic platforms.
