Abraham Bernstein

Abraham Bernstein is a full professor at the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich, where he leads the Dynamic and Distributed Information Systems Group (DDIS). He also serves as the managing director of the Digital Society Initiative (DSI). Abraham has extensive research experience in the areas of Semantic Web, Data Mining, Machine Learning, and heterogeneous data integration, with a particular focus on the impact of social and technological interaction on computer science. Previously, he served as an assistant professor at NYU's Stern School of Business and obtained his PhD from MIT's Sloan School of Management. His research combines technical insights with foundational concepts from organizational psychology and sociology. Abraham actively participates in various scientific committees and was recognized as a "Digital Shaper" by Swiss magazine Bilanz.
