Ruofei Du

Dr. Ruofei Du is the Interactive Perception & Graphics Lead and XR Lab Manager at Google, dedicated to driving innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR). His research spans multiple fields, including technical HCI, computer graphics, and perception science, with a focus on XR interaction, visual programming, enhanced communication, social XR, virtual humans, Foveated Rendering, accessibility technologies, and graphics-focused deep learning. He holds three US patents and has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including CHI, UIST, SIGGRAPH Asia, TVCG, CVPR, and ICCV. He also serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE TCSVT and a Subcommittee Chair for conferences such as CHI and UIST. Passionate about inventing interactive technologies that combine graphics, perception, and HCI, Dr. Du is committed to advancing human-computer interaction and visualization technologies.
