Jin Ryong Kim

Dr. Jin Ryong Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas and the head of the Multimodal Interaction Laboratory (MI Lab). His research focuses on innovative applications of haptic technologies in virtual reality, augmented reality, and wearable devices, aiming to design multisensory user interfaces to enhance immersive experiences. He has received several prestigious international awards, including the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award and multiple best paper and demo awards. Dr. Kim's research has pioneered the application of haptics and thermal technologies, delivering revolutionary user experiences in fields like virtual reality and medical simulation.
