Raina Langevin

Raina Langevin is a researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Conversational User Interface (CUI) Design, and Health Informatics. She is currently a National Library of Medicine (NLM) Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at the University of Washington. In 2023, she earned her PhD and Master's degrees in Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) from the University of Washington. Her research focuses on improving the usability and equity of healthcare technology through conversational system design. Previously, she completed her dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Art at the University of Rochester and has conducted research at companies such as Snap and Meta. Her academic work has been published in top-tier conferences like CHI, CUI, and IMWUT, where she has also received multiple Best Paper Awards and Honorable Mentions.
