Maneesh Agrawala

Maneesh Agrawala is a professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and Director of the Brown Institute for Media Innovation. His research focuses on the fields of computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and visualization, with a particular emphasis on applying principles of cognitive design to enhance the effectiveness of audiovisual media. He previously served as a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and has extensive research and industry experience at Microsoft Research and Pixar Animation Studios. His academic achievements include the development of the LineDrive map generation system and visualization interfaces for complex 3D models.
