Griffin Dietz

Griffin Dietz is a research scientist focused on children's computer education, currently working at Apple. Her research areas include children’s cognitive abilities in technology, early education in computational thinking, and the design and development of AI educational tools. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, advised by Professor James Landay (Computer Science) and Professor Hyowon Gweon (Psychology). Dietz’s work centers on supporting children’s learning in technology, aiming to enhance their computational thinking and interest in technology through the creation of innovative educational systems.
