Min Kyung Lee

Min Kyung Lee is an Assistant Professor at the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin and the Director of the Human-Centered AI Lab. She is an expert in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, focusing on research areas including algorithmic management's impact on workers, fairness and transparency in AI, and the design of social robots. She developed a participatory framework to help community members design algorithms that meet their needs. Dr. Lee is a recipient of the Siebel Scholar Award and the Allen Newell Award for Research Excellence. Her research has been funded by organizations such as the NSF and has received multiple Best Paper Awards or nominations at conferences like CHI and CSCW.
