Herman Saksono

Herman Saksono is a scholar researching digital health technologies. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University with a joint appointment in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences and the Khoury College of Computer Sciences. His research focuses on designing and evaluating health technologies aimed at addressing health disparities, particularly exploring how social interactions enable communities to collectively manage health and well-being. His research spans human-computer interaction (HCI), personal health informatics, and computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW). Previously, he conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University and earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Northeastern University. He also received a Fulbright Scholarship to complete his master's degree in computer science.
