Behnaz Norouzi

Behnaz Norouzi is a researcher specializing in digital manufacturing and Fab Lab, currently a postdoctoral researcher in the INTERACT research group at the University of Oulu. Her research focuses on inclusive participation of children and women in Fab Labs, particularly exploring how participatory design and digital fabrication technologies can foster education and innovation. Since 2018, Behnaz has been a lecturer and researcher at the Fab Lab of the University of Oulu, contributing to several research projects on technology-mediated child digital design and manufacturing. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Lappeenranta University of Technology and a PhD in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu.
