Yingcai Wu

Yingcai Wu is a tenured professor and doctoral supervisor at the State Key Laboratory (CAD&CG), Zhejiang University, and leads the Interactive Data Group (IDG@ZJU). His research interests include visual analytics, information visualization, human-computer interaction, and interdisciplinary applications such as urban informatics, sports data analytics, and social media analytics. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the South China University of Technology. Wu's career includes experience as a researcher at Microsoft Research Asia and postdoctoral research roles at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of California, Davis. His research has been widely published in prestigious journals and conferences, and he has frequently been honored with academic awards from organizations such as IEEE.
