Antti Salovaara

Antti Salovaara is a Senior University Lecturer in the Department of Design at Aalto University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, and the repurposive appropriation of technology. His research examines how users solve practical problems in their daily work and life through the creative use of information technology. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Helsinki and studied Computer Science at Helsinki University of Technology. Antti is committed to uncovering the potential of technology in user interaction through field experiments involving design and technological prototypes. His research incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methods to deeply investigate creative support for knowledge work and the design of systems and behavioral models within organizations.
