Hideaki Kuzuoka

Hideaki Kuzuoka is a full professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, whose research focuses on CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) and groupware technologies. He is one of the pioneers in introducing robots and gadgets into CSCW studies and has been collaborating with ethnographic researchers for over a decade to establish a long-term development and evaluation cycle. His research team enjoys international recognition in the fields of CSCW and HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), with their work frequently accepted at premier international conferences such as CHI, CSCW, and ECSCW. His research interests include remote instruction, robot-mediated communication systems, wearable robots, human-robot interaction, and medical education and instruction.
