Philippe Pasquier

Philippe Pasquier is an interdisciplinary AI expert, generative artist, educator, and community builder. He currently serves as a professor at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology and leads the Metacreation Lab for Creative AI. As a pioneer in generative systems, machine learning, affective computing, and computer-aided creativity, his research and artistic practices reside at the intersection of science and art. He has founded several international academic conferences and art festivals, including the International Workshop on Musical Metacreation (MUME), the International Conference on AI Music Creativity (AIMC), and the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA).
