Michael S Bernstein

Michael S. Bernstein is a professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, Social Computing, and Social Technology Design, aiming to transform and optimize human behavior through the design of computational platforms. He is a renowned bestselling author whose work has been featured by prominent outlets like The New York Times, TED AI, and MIT Technology Review. Among his accolades are the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship and the Computer History Museum's "Tech for Humanity Prize." He holds a Bachelor's degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and a Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
