Carl Gutwin

Carl Gutwin is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is also a co-director of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab. He previously held the Canada Research Chair in Next-Generation Groupware. He has published over 200 papers in the fields of HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) and CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work), with research interests that include interface design and organization, information visualization, human performance modeling, collaboration support, and groupware usability. For his exceptional contributions to HCI research, he was inducted as an ACM CHI Academy member in 2012 and named an ACM Distinguished Researcher in 2015.
