Md. Sami Uddin

Md. Sami Uddin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina, Canada, with a research focus on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). He is committed to exploring how physical and cognitive abilities can be leveraged to design more efficient interaction techniques, enabling users to master computer interfaces quickly. His research particularly focuses on the use of "landmarks" in graphical user interfaces, investigating ways to enhance spatial memory and command location efficiency through landmarks. He conducts research across multiple computing platforms, including traditional desktops, multi-touch displays, and handheld devices. Dr. Uddin has extensive academic and teaching experience and has published high-quality research findings in several international conferences.
