Hariharan Subramonyam

Hariharan Subramonyam is a Research Assistant Professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, as well as a core member of Stanford’s Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Group and the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). His research primarily focuses on leveraging principles of cognitive psychology to enhance essential human tasks such as learning, creativity, and meaning-making with the support of artificial intelligence. He also actively works on designing tools for interdisciplinary teams to collaboratively create human-centered AI experiences. His work has frequently received Best Paper Awards at flagship HCI conferences like CHI and IUI.
