Wilmot Li

Wilmot Li is a Senior Principal Scientist at Adobe Research and is active in Adobe's Creative Intelligence Lab. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Washington. His research primarily focuses on computer graphics, human-computer interaction, data visualization, and animation technology. During his tenure at Adobe, he has led the development of several innovative technologies, such as tools for adding interactive and dynamic content to static 2D artwork, and technologies related to Adobe Character Animator software, which received a Technical Emmy Award for its innovation. His research has not only advanced the field of animation but has also provided artists, animators, and game designers with efficient and user-friendly tools for creation.
