Michael Crabb

Dr. Michael Crabb is a Lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) within the School of Computing at the University of Dundee. His research focuses on user experience, accessibility, and the development of interfaces for immersive technologies, with a particular emphasis on accessibility testing in digital media and games. His work has been supported by the Scottish Funding Council, the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance, and the Carnegie Trust. Michael also holds multiple academic leadership roles, including Co-Director of the University of Dundee User Experience Research Group and Lead Developer for Mixed Reality Accessibility Guidelines within the W3C WCAG3 Task Force. He has received several internal awards for his teaching and is actively involved in promoting programming in primary education.
