Parastoo Abtahi

Parastoo Abtahi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Princeton University, where she leads Princeton's Situated Interactions Lab (Ψ Lab). Her research focuses on human-computer interaction, with particular interest in augmented reality and spatial computing. Parastoo earned her PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University and completed her Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. Her work explores the development of innovative interactive technologies that enhance human capabilities by understanding human perception and cognition, particularly focusing on wearable and intelligent interaction devices in the 3D physical world. She previously served as a Visiting Research Scientist at Meta Reality Labs Research, and her research has been published and recognized at top academic conferences.
