Sarah Foley

Sarah Foley is a lecturer in Applied Psychology and Human-Computer Interaction at University College Cork (UCC), as well as a researcher at Research Ireland Lero Centre for Software Engineering. Her research focuses on healthcare experiences and the application of technology within the health domain, particularly the design and exploration of technologies in dementia care. She completed her Ph.D. in 2019, specializing in experience-centered design and the role of human-computer interaction in dementia care. Additionally, she actively engages in women's health research, utilizing qualitative methods to explore intersections of mental health and technology. As a founding member of the Irish Network for Qualitative Research Diversity, she is committed to advancing collaboration between academia and broader society.
