April Y. Wang

April Yi Wang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zürich, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), programming support, collaborative data science, and educational technology. Her research aims to design human-centered systems to enhance programming and data science education experiences. April earned her Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Michigan and her Master's in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University. She completed her bachelor's degree in Computer Science and the Chu Kochen Honors College at Zhejiang University. Her work spans programming collaboration tools, AI-assisted learning, and visual programming, with numerous publications at top-tier conferences like ACM CHI and CSCW.
