Brad A Myers

Brad A. Myers is the Charles M. Geschke Director and Professor at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) of Carnegie Mellon University, and also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Software and Societal Systems Department. He is a distinguished researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, honored with the ACM SIGCHI Lifetime Research Award and the Alan J. Perlis Award for Imagination in Computer Science. He has published over 550 academic papers and made pioneering contributions in areas such as user interface design, programming environments, and visual programming. His research focuses on simplifying the programming process through the design of user interface software and programming languages, and developing innovative approaches to intelligent user interfaces and demonstrational programming.
