Shiri Azenkot

Shiri Azenkot is an associate professor of information science at Cornell Tech and a faculty member of the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science, the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Her research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction and accessibility, focusing on equal information access for people with disabilities through mobile and wearable devices. She studies smart glasses, 3D printing, and other intelligent interactive systems for people who are blind or have low vision, with applications in orientation and mobility, education, and employment. She directs the Enhancing Ability Lab and co-founded XR Access in 2019.
