Bruce H Thomas

Professor Bruce H. Thomas is the Director of the University of South Australia's Interactive and Virtual Environments Research Center (IVE), with over 20 years of research experience. He established the Wearable Computer Lab in 1998 and is an internationally renowned expert in augmented reality, virtual reality, visualization, and human-computer interaction. Professor Thomas’s research focuses on connecting world-class academic achievements with industry applications, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and immersive analytics. He has been recognized in the AMiner Most Influential Scholar list, has published over 200 works, and has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of virtual reality and related technologies.
