Tobias Langlotz

Tobias Langlotz is a renowned scholar specializing in Augmented Reality (AR), Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at Aarhus University and an Honorary Professor at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He earned his degree from Bauhaus University Weimar in Germany and completed his PhD at Graz University of Technology in Austria. His research focuses on using AR technologies in mobile computing, virtual tourism, and computational glasses to enhance human perception. His work has been featured multiple times at international conferences such as ACM CHI, IEEE Virtual Reality, and IEEE ISMAR, and he has received the University of Otago’s "Early Career Award for Distinction in Research." Additionally, he actively contributes to the international academic community and has served as General Chair for IEEE VR in 2022 and 2023.
