Ching Chiuan Yen

YEN Ching Chiuan (颜庆全) is a Dean's Chair Associate Professor at the Division of Industrial Design, National University of Singapore (NUS), and the founding head of the division. He is currently the Co-Director of Keio-NUS CUTE Center and Deputy Director of the NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS). His research spans a wide range of topics, focusing on areas such as design methodology, human-computer interaction, virtual reality, healthcare design, and additive manufacturing. He is keen on bridging the gap between design theory and practice, and his supervised projects have won over 50 international design awards. As a distinguished researcher, he has published numerous academic papers, secured more than SGD 30 million in research funding, and collaborated extensively with leading international companies.
