Rebecca Kleinberger

Rébecca Kleinberger is an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University with a joint appointment in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences and the College of Arts, Media, and Design. She is the director of the INTERACT animal lab, and her research spans neuroscience, human-computer interaction, psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, and animal-computer interaction. She focuses on using voice technology to help humans better understand themselves and leveraging technology to enrich interactions between animals and humans. Before joining Northeastern, she was an affiliated researcher at the MIT Media Lab and the McGovern Institute for Brain Research. Her work bridges science, engineering, art, and design, and has been showcased in international exhibitions and performances, such as the Maison Symphonique in Montreal and the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland.
