Kay Connelly

Dr. Kay Connelly is a Research Foundation Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University, as well as the Assistant Vice President for Research and Innovation. She is an influential scholar in the fields of ubiquitous computing and mobile computing technologies, focusing her research on using technology to improve health outcomes, with a particular emphasis on the needs of low socioeconomic status groups. Her research has contributed to over 90 conference and journal papers, and has received more than $5 million in grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. She has held multiple significant leadership roles at Indiana University and has extensive experience in academic research and technological innovation.
