Yvonne Rogers

Yvonne Rogers is one of the pioneers in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interaction Design. She is currently a Professor of Interaction Design and Director of the UCL Interaction Centre (UCLIC) at University College London (UCL). Her research focuses on enhancing human experience in everyday life, learning, and work through the design and creation of innovative technologies. Her work spans cognitive science, user experience, ubiquitous computing, and human-computer interaction. Yvonne has authored over 350 publications, including the widely used textbook Interaction Design: Beyond Human-Computer Interaction. She has received numerous international awards such as the ACM SIGCHI Lifetime Research Award and the Royal Society's Milner Award and Medal and is a Fellow of both ACM and the British Computer Society. Her research has advanced academic knowledge while making a significant impact on industry.
