Cindy Xiong

Cindy Xiong Bearfield is an expert in the field of data visualization and currently serves as an assistant professor at Georgia Tech's School of Interactive Computing. Her research blends visual perception, cognitive psychology, and data visualization, exploring how humans perceive and interpret visualized data to optimize the presentation for decision-making and understanding. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and has published award-winning papers at top academic conferences such as IEEE VIS and ACM CHI.
