Jiaju Ma

Jiaju Ma is a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science department at Stanford University, advised by Professor Maneesh Agrawala. His research focuses on developing tools that support user creativity in design, aiming to enhance the efficiency and creativity of the design process. His work is supported by the Brown Institute for Media Innovation, the HAI-HPI AI & Human-Computer Interaction initiative, and the Sony-Stanford Graduate Fellowship. He has received the UIST Best Paper Award and an Honorable Mention for Best Paper at CHI. Jiaju has interned at Google DeepMind, collaborating with Peggy Chi and Irfan Essa, and has also interned at Adobe Research twice, working closely with Li-Yi Wei and Rubaiat Habib Kazi. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design dual-degree program, holding Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Industrial Design, with extensive design internship experience at Facebook AI, LinkedIn, Deeplearning.ai, and Learnable.ai.
