Srishti Palani

Srishti Palani is a computer and cognitive scientist specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. She is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Salesforce (Tableau Research). Her research focuses on building and evaluating AI systems that enhance human cognition, are interpretable, and trustworthy. Her work explores designing AI systems that support human cognition and studying how these systems reshape users’ workflows and practices. Srishti's research has been published in top-tier academic conferences and has received honors such as Best Paper Awards, the Google PhD Fellowship, and the CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award. She has collaborated with leading research institutions, including Microsoft Research, Autodesk Research, and the Allen Institute for AI, where her work has made significant impacts in both academia and industry.
