Yiyue Luo

Yiyue Luo is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on digital manufacturing, the design and development of flexible sensors, human-computer interaction, and robot interaction. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2024, under the supervision of Professors Wojciech Matusik and Tomas Palacios. Previously, she received her Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and worked in Professor John A. Rogers' lab. Her research aims to advance intelligent human-computer interaction through innovative digital manufacturing and sensing technologies, providing new pathways for assistive robotics and haptic technology development.
