David S. Ebert

David S. Ebert is a globally renowned expert in the fields of visualization and visual analytics. He is currently the Director of the Data Institute for Societal Challenges at the University of Oklahoma, Gallogly Chair in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and an Adjunct Professor at Purdue University. His research focuses on trustworthy AI, visualization technologies, human-machine collaboration, large-scale data analysis, and novel predictive analytics methodologies. He has received numerous honors, including the IEEE Visualization Technical Achievement Award and IEEE Fellow. He has led multiple national research centers, such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Visual Analytics for Command, Control, and Interoperability Environments Center of Excellence.
