Keshet Ronen

Dr. Keshet Ronen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, specializing in using mobile communication technologies (such as text messaging and social media) to support behavioral health, particularly for underserved and marginalized populations in Kenya and the United States. Her research focuses on promoting health equity, supporting the health of migrants and refugees, and addressing the needs of gender and sexual minority groups. As a scholar committed to social justice, she collaborates with communities to develop strategies that improve health equity. Dr. Ronen has received funding for multiple studies, including exploring the use of social media for adolescent maternal mental health and developing digital tools to enhance access to neonatal health care.
