Irene Pasquetto

Irene V. Pasquetto is a scholar in the field of information and communication sciences and currently serves as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland College of Information Studies. Her research focuses on knowledge production practices, particularly how digital technologies shape and regulate these practices. Her latest research areas include misinformation and disinformation in science, open science and data reuse practices, and public engagement with science. Previously, she was an assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Information and a senior research fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. Irene is also the co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review, bringing extensive academic and teaching experience.
